Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data architectures to support big data and analytics requirements.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
Work with Python and PySpark-based solutions to process large-scale datasets.
Build and optimize solutions using Databricks.
Implement data quality checks and governance practices to ensure data reliability.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud platforms.
Document technical processes and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have Skills

Strong experience with Databricks.
Hands-on experience in Python and PySpark for data processing.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation.
Experience working with Azure Cloud services.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
Good understanding of data modeling concepts and data architecture.
Experience implementing data quality and governance practices.

Good to Have Skills

Experience designing data lake architectures such as Medallion Architecture.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
Exposure to AI Flow engineering or AI data pipelines.
Experience with data governance and security best practices.
Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with data scientists and analytics teams.

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role

3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL pipelines, and big data processing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
