RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Global Internal Communications Manager that manages and executes internal communications of BASF’s global Battery Materials business.

·  In this role, you are responsible for generating topics and creating content for internal communications, as well as monitoring and evaluating the success of these communications.
·  You take over content and strategic responsibility for the internal news channel “ePower” and are involved in its continuous development.
·  Additionally, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining a new employee interaction platform / Intranet, and exploring the possibility of other communication channels such as a mobile app or digital signages.
·  As Global Internal Communications Manager, you are in charge of planning and executing internal events for employees and managers within the division. This includes employee events, town halls, onboarding events, and safety days. You are also responsible for creating and maintaining internal communication tactics such as videos or presentations.
·  In addition, you provide communication support for change projects and develop target group-specific communication concepts. You manage and coordinate internal communication for the functional units at BASF Battery Materials, including Battery Technology & Investments, Strategic Development, HR, and Controlling & Digitalization.
·  Furthermore, you act as the internal communication contact for Battery Materials' production sites and office locations worldwide. This involves selecting, briefing, and leading external service providers as well.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  successfully completed university degree in communication studies, journalism, human or social sciences
·  minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in internal communication, editorial writing, storytelling, and event management
·  broad experience in internal communication as well as expertise in change communications, ideally also experience in photo or video creation and editing
·  profound handling of content management systems and MS-Office applications
·  excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English and German
