Canola Seed Production Associate – 4 month Term (May – August)

Our Certified Seed Production Team is looking for positive and energetic Summer Associates to join its team for the summer (May to August).

As a Canola Seed Production Associate, you are required to travel within your assigned region and manage your schedule to ensure completion of individual and team goals.

Job Description:

- Work with growers within your assigned regions in the production of InVigor canola for market.

- Involved in all aspects of seed production from seeding to harvest including:

o Monitoring the health of the crop as it matures

o Scout fields for weed, disease, and insect pressure

o Directly involved in maintaining relationships with growers

o Providing agronomic advice in relation to certified seed production under the recommendation of the Production Agronomist.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

·  Agronomic knowledge attained through pursuing your degree in Agriculture or through another college combined with experience in the Agriculture industry.
·  Attention to detail in delivering results
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
