Job description

The Accounting, Tax, and Treasury department handles the closing and reporting of the Allianz Technology segment, including control and coordination of branches and subsidiaries in 18 countries globally, as well as all topics concerning corporate taxation, value-added tax, and treasury for Allianz Technology SE. What you do

Support in monthly and quarterly closing activities e.g. in the accounts reconciliation process with the Regional Financial Officers globally
Support in process optimization and business development activities within the Accounting, Tax and Treasury department
Organization of central and global accounting meetings (e.g. quarterly closing conferences) with the Regional Financial Officers
Support in business projects within accounting, tax and treasury having significant impact on the organizational performance
Assistance in steering M&A activities as well as the setup of new entities globally
Assistance in line cost center reporting and control and basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practicle use
Organizational and administrative tasks (e.g. onboarding of new colleagues; budget approvals)

What you bring

Currently enrolled in a degree in economics, business administration with focus to finance, controlling, IT or similar Regardless what you are studying: if you think you are smart: Let´s give it a try and apply!
Basics in MS Office applications (esp. MS Excel and MS Power Point)
Structured, dedicated and eager to learn
Team player and basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practicle use
Written and spoken English is a must; German language skills would be beneficial
First experiences in finance departments would be desired
You can start as soon as possible and are interested in a working student position for at least 6 months- part time (16-20 h/week)
