UW & Portfolio Mng. Expert - RSA

Job description

The Mission of the UW Department is to promote the profitable growth of the RSA line of business focusing on clients / business opportunities. Reporting to the UW & Portfolio Management (Senior) Lead liaising with the Markets, Operational, Sales, Finance, IT teams and Allianz Partners Business Units, you will be responsible for case underwriting and the monitoring and remediation of our RSA clients portfolio. As UW & Portfolio Management Expert, you are mainly responsible for monitoring the profitability of RSA contracts and calculating the requested quotes (new quotes and renewals) with accuracy, aligned with Total Simplicity and within the deadlines.     

Your responsibilities:

·  Data Monitoring : Analyze statistical and technical data to detect deviations and derive trend insights.
·  Profitability Management : Identify cost drivers, prepare rehabilitation plans for unprofitable clients, and monitor corrective actions.
·  Sales Support : Provide analysis for annual reviews to aid in optimal offer preparation; join client meetings as necessary.
·  Reporting : Produce reports and commentary for Smart Circle evaluations.
·  Cross-Department Collaboration : Align with Finance and Reserving on assumptions and cost allocations.
·  Planning Support : Contribute underwriting insights on premiums, costs, and claims trends for future planning.
·  Accurate Quote Calculation : Calculate new quotes and renewals in line with profitability goals and deadlines.
·  Procedure Compliance : Follow group guidelines and procedures.
·  Tariff Testing : Validate new tariffs to ensure accuracy and product benefits.
·  Other PUW Tasks : Complete additional tasks as assigned by the (Senior) Lead.

Our requirements:

·  Experience in analyzing portfolio performance and applying pricing techniques and underwriting guidelines
·  Knowledge of Insurance or Assistance industry practices
·  Proficiency with IT tools such as data warehouses, Excel, reporting tools, and a solid understanding of financial concepts
·  Strong data interpretation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
·  Confident, engaging communicator with the ability to convey insights clearly
·  Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
·  Awareness of product management and ‘Simplicity’ initiatives
·  Proficient in English (written and spoken)
