Job role

As a Sustainability Reporting Project Manager, you will support the end-to-end sustainability reporting processes from a project management perspective, including organizational and administrative tasks, stakeholder management, data checks, qualitative content updates and internal documentation.

 

What you will do

  • Engage in strategic organizational and project management tasks, such as steering Jour Fixe meetings
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings and documenting minutes to facilitate seamless operations
  • Project and stakeholder management of sustainability reporting-related content and prepare internal and external communication materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support comprehensive project management, stakeholder engagement, and manage reviews and sign-offs with precision
  • Aid the relative workstream lead (cross-cutting, environment, social, or governance) in driving simplification, standardization, and automation efforts, such as analyzing complex Excel files for process improvement
  • Enhance reporting processes and communication efficacy
  • Assist in data checks, providing insightful explanations for data changes to ensure transparency
  • Support qualitative content updates, including conducting thorough reviews and clarifications with content owners
  • Utilize reporting tools to update report content, structure, and tables for specific areas, ensuring data integrity and coherence
  • Conduct report translation reviews, including glossary updates, to ensure clarity and precision in communication
  • Refresh and maintain internal documentation and handbooks, ensuring resources are current and accessible

 

What you bring

  • University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business administration, project management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in report creation and project management tasks, ideally with a focus on sustainability (environment, social, or governance)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to perform complex functions and affinity to working with data
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse and international team environment
  • Desire to make a difference and openness to coaching
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and reporting methodologies (e.g., CSRD) is beneficial
  • Experience with SmartNotes or other disclosure software tools is a plus

 

You have

  • Very structured way of working and detail-oriented attitude, laying the ground for strong expertise in combining components in form of text, numbers and graphs. Ability to keep an overview over complex reporting structure and dependencies
  • Good ability and willingness to work under time pressure in finalization of reports based on late changes in content combined with hard deadlines for deliveries
  • Precision-driven professional who excels in delivering impeccable outputs, ensuring every deliverable meets stringent accuracy benchmarks, with zero tolerance for errors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills, both in daily cooperation with the narrative reporting project leads
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholder efficiently
  • Capability to quickly understand requirements and translate them into actionable tasks with a hands-on mentality
  • Excellent command of English for preparing and delivering reports and documentation. German language skills are a plus
