We are currently searching for a Fund Accounting Specialist. This position is responsible for the daily NAV calculation and the preparation of reports for regulatory and mandate clients in the Fund Accounting department of AllianzGI Taiwan.

The role is based in Taipei, Taiwan.

What you will do

As part of the Middle office team

• Manage the settlement of global and local securities, as well as other financial instruments related to our fund/mandate investments (including stocks, bonds, FX, futures, repos, and fund of funds, etc.).
• Monitor and process global corporate actions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform daily reconciliation of open trades and cash position reports received from sub-custodian banks.
• Reconcile holding statements between the custodian bank and AGI Taiwan to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Facilitate the opening of overseas investment accounts.
• Investigate and resolve settlement-related issues or discrepancies to ensure smooth trade processing.

What you bring

Required:

• Senior securities license, SITE & SICE License
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications  
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
• Native Mandarin speaking skills with good English reading and writing abilities
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to high-quality execution
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; positive, creative thinker with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Preferred:

• Background in fund accounting or securities settlement operations
• Well-versed in financial instruments and market practices; solid understanding of products such as bonds, equities, futures, FX, repos (RP), and corporate action events
