Specialist - AAGI A&H Claims Payment (ASO)

Job description
The position is responsible to registering and administering claims under the Administrative Services Only(ASO) arrangement. The role includes verifying claim documentation, assessing eligibility and benefit limits based on the employer's health plan agreement, and approving payments within assigned authority. This position plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and timeliness of claim processing while delivering high-quality service to both corporate clients and their employees.
Responsibilities :
• Process and register member and provider claims under employer-sponsored medical benefit(ASO scheme).
• Verify claim submissions against the corporate health plan design, benefit schedules, and policy conditions.
• Assess and approve claims in line with plan limits, exclusions, and negotiated provider agreements.
• Act as a liaison between employer HR teams, providers, and internal claims staff to resolve issues or obtain missing documents.
• Ensure service delivery meets Service Level Agreements(SLAs) agreed with corporate clients.
• Prepare claim reports and summarize for employer clients on utilization, claim trends, and exceptions.
• Support audits, quality checks, and compliance with company policies and client requirements.• Minimum of 2 years' experience in c;aims administration (medical or health insurance preferred) or
• At least 2 years' experience working in a hospital or healthcare provider setting, with exposure to billing, patient administration, or insurance coordination.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in any field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in c;aims administration (medical or health insurance preferred) or
At least 2 years' experience working in a hospital or healthcare provider setting, with exposure to billing, patient administration, or insurance coordination. Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
