Overall Objectives of job

 

The Hardware Asset Manager is responsible for managing the company's physical IT asset portfolio. This includes the procurement, tracking, inventory, maintenance, and disposal of hardware assets to ensure that the organization uses its IT resources efficiently. He or she acts as the interface between service management, procurement, and the provider who ensures warehouse management.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Managing the entire lifecycle of hardware assets, including procurement (in collaboration with Procurement and Service Management), tracking, inventory, maintenance, and disposal
  • Monitoring the current stock levels of all hardware components
  • Ensuring the accurate recording and tracking of all hardware assets
  • Use of ServiceNow asset management software to track and report on asset status and locations.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations relating to hardware assets.
  • Preparation of regular reports on the status and performance of hardware assets for stakeholders
  • Analysis of data to support strategic decisions

 

 

Qualification, Experience,

 

Must Have:

  • Degree in IT, business administration, or a related field
  • experience in IT asset management or a similar position
  • Knowledge of asset management software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of ITIL
  • Basic Understanding on AI
