About the Job 

The Regional Finance Manager is responsible for all finance-related functional areas within the CFO pillar for the region of Germany and Switzerland, acting on behalf of the Group CFO of Allianz Technology SE and accountable to the CTO for the same scope. The role involves managing all customer-related financial topics in close collaboration with the CTO Head, fostering transformation post-merger integration, and ensuring the implementation of finance transformation within the regions. This includes Financial Planning & Analysis, Budget Management, Forecasting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Compliance & Risk Management

  

What you do 

  • Provide leadership, direction, and management of the regional finance team and second line functions.
  • Foster transparency and ensure proper baselining and initiative tracking per region, leveraging finance teams.
  • Ensure global management and control of revenues, costs, and price & volume effects transparently.
  • Validate CTO Project Portfolio & Initiative Business cases with local and central senior management stakeholders.
  • Steer demand alignment (volume) on multiyear perspective together with ACM and Service Owners to enable Allianz group vision
  • Play a vital role in dispute management (cash collection process) and foster credit note handling with Allianz Group CFOs.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.

 

What you bring   

  • Extensive experience in financial management, with a track record of success in a senior leadership role.
  • Expertise in managing IT budgets (€500m - €1bn), with experience driving cost savings and ensuring financial transparency.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience in related positions in the IT industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Deep awareness of cultural nuances, customs, and etiquette in the region.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred).
