Job description
Allianz Holding Eins is responsible for Central & Eastern Europe (CE) focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers 11 countries in total Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.
Purpose of the position:
As a Program Manager at Allianz Holding Eins, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of transformation initiatives from initiation to completion within multiple local entities. You will work closely with the COO and cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, meeting deadlines, and achieving objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and possesses strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to COO, operations, product, finance, IT to drive program success.
· Actively engage with multiple local entities, fostering relationships, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
· Oversee transformation initiatives within the organization, guiding teams through transitions and ensuring successful adoption of new processes.
· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
· Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful program delivery.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, milestones, and key deliverables.
· Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
· Evaluate program performance against objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
· Provide leadership and mentorship to project leads and members in the local entities within the program.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree, PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
· Solid track records as a Program Manager or equivalent
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
· Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
· Fluent spoken and written English
· Good understanding of Central European markets
· Certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, Systems Thinking represent a plus.
For this position we offer a yearly gross salary of at least EUR 90.000 gross (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
