 Product and underwriting Analyst – Insurance - Adelaide

About the role

• Provide underwriting and product guidance to Claims and Sales teams, acting as a subject matter expert.
• Supports RAA Insurance’s product and underwriting strategy by managing policy, regulatory, and compliance changes.
• Uphold RAA insurance’s policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, while proactively identifying potential risks thus contributing to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement whilst ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
• Review and update insurance product content across formats such as PDS, guidelines, and communications.
• Propose and implement underwriting process improvements to boost efficiency, risk management, and accuracy.

About you

• Proven experience in business analysis and/or business process analysis and implementation. Alternatively experience as a Case Manager, Claims Consultant or relevant experience. You will have strong General Insurance background and knowledge of insurance products, services, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Able to analyse complex data sets and clearly and concisely communicate complex technical subject matter to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Deep understanding of insurance regulations, including the General Insurance Code of Practice, dispute resolution, and relevant legislation, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply them.
