Job role
The Global Operational Lead for Protection & Resilience (with a focus on Business Continuity) oversees the governance, implementation, and adherence to both internal and external regulations within the Business Continuity Management domain. Additionally, this role involves active participation in managing incidents that impact business continuity, as needed.
What you will do
- Offer a unique mix of consultancy & operational services for Business Continuity Management offered to clients globally.
- Lead large, client-facing projects while mentoring/training junior team members.
- Ensure proper coordination and communication between the converging P&R domains (BCM, GIM, CM etc.)
- Ensure the P&R Experts and Coordinator have clear tasks to achieve the objectives and the deliverables of the P&R program.
- Respond / ensure the quality, and supervises the various internal assessments for the domain they are responsible for.
- Supervise the compliance of the local hubs with the internal standards and regulations.
- Ensure maturity growth and regulatory compliance for BCM they are responsible for.
- Develop / support the development of risk awareness campaigns (training material, infographics, etc.).
- Preparing and presenting updates and developments in the P&R community and following up on corrective actions / remediation plans across hubs.
- Ensures a good collaboration with Risk Management and other connected functions.
What you bring
- University degree
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in BCM, ideally in the financial / insurance industry
- Ideally holder of recognized qualification and certification in BCM.
- Experience in conducting relevant workshops and training.
- Leadership experience in a demanding environment.
