We are seeking an experienced Claims Performance Manager to join our NSW Workers Compensation team and lead initiatives that ensure we maximise our remuneration by meeting and exceeding our KPIs, quality benchmarks, operational measures and service standards.

 

About the role

  • Monitor, assess and drive claims performance to meet business targets and objective.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analytics and Claims teams to develop comprehensive reporting that delivers actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Inform and support the development of strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry bodies and regulators.
  • Stay across scheme trends, changes and expectations, translating these into practical strategies for the business.
  • Deliver high-quality reports and presentation that influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Overseeing the development, monitoring, and implementation of remediation plans across portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. 

 

About you

  • Proven experience in analysing claims performance and driving operational strategy that enables claims teams to achieve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of turning insights into measurable results.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead through influence across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to create, interpret and present detailed reporting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in claims management, insurance performance, or a similar operational performance role.
  • Strategic thinking, adaptability, and a results driven mindset.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
