The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Multinational Programs Manager, as a Multinational Team Lead, you will manage and develop a multi-LOB team. You will provide efficient administration and processing services to underwriting, accounting, claims, credit control, and brokers/clients and act as the primary contact for customers (clients, brokers) and various stakeholders (internal and external) for the respective LOB. You will support and drive implementation of agreed processes.   

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Managing a multi-LoB portfolio, contributing to the implementation of the strategy for the OE.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key local/regional stakeholders, aligning with them on SLAs, including availability, performance, response, cost, and quality, managing stakeholder expectations and consistently meeting and reporting on operational KPIs / SLAs for the team.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Underwriting LOB Heads and Market Management / KAM, supporting them in acquiring new customers by developing tailored solutions. 
  • Support and implementation of Highly complex accounts. 
  • Leading a multi-LOB team of 4-10 FTEs according to Allianz standards, ensuring integrity and performance management, as well as planning and steering resources and workloads within the LOBs.
  • Working with other Operating Entities, including the Governance team, to develop lean organizational processes while maintaining quality and high customer satisfaction.
  • Implementing and communicating operational measurements, KPIs, and SLAs to steer and improve business.
  • Supporting implementation of the TOM model in the Operating Entity, including communicating changes to employees and assisting staff during change processes.
  • Participating in key local projects and contributing to Regional / Global projects as required.
  • Actively engaging with market-facing activities, including client meetings, broker interactions, and industry events, to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships.
  • Providing feedback from market interactions to inform strategic decisions and improve service offerings.
  • Ensuring cost-effective minimization of operational risks.  

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Minimum of 1 year of people leadership experience or within projects or working groups;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferable in Operations or Underwriting;
  • Experience in working in an international environment;
  • Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications and experience with relevant business applications and systems;
  • Excellent understanding of relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages;
  • Advanced understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellation;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build and foster relationships internally and externally with people at various levels;
  • Ability to motivate and coach staff;
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail; and
  • Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
