position summary
MedOps Project manager is part of Strategic Team and supports the strategy of the Medical Assistance global function. More specifically, he/she contributes in monitoring and driving the activity across Medical Assistance, which is based on a regional set-up with Medical Global Competency Centers (MGCCs).

key responsibilities
Reporting to Head of Strategic Program Medical Assistance, this position will support the implementation of the Medical Operations strategy and support MGCCs, in particular:
· Support in the modeling and documentation of medical processes and the identification of process improvement opportunities to drive productivity / efficiency within Medical Operations, including the impact due to the roll-out of Global Business Models
· Support transversal initiatives impacting Medical Operations (Allianz/Allianz Partner group projects, Digitalization of the Medical value chain including Robotic process automation, New products/tenders etc.) and ensure the alignment of global initiatives with the local initiatives
· Define harmonized standards/procedures for Medical Operations
· Contribute to telehealth projects
· Lead ad-hoc/Contribute to transversal initiatives impacting Medical Operations
· Organize and coordinate monthly steerco with regional management team to follow up initiatives.
· Support organizing seminars with Global medical assistance team in collaboration of Global Office team.
· Build and standardize global training programs
· Support the communication and coordination with the Group Chief Medical Officer
· Support transversal initiatives impacting Medical Operations (Allianz/Allianz Partner group projects, Digitalization of the Medical value chain, New products/tenders etc.)
· Act as representative of the unit towards other Global functions (Marketing, HR, Sales,…)
· Analyse requests from other departments and recommend proposals / solutions
· Drive alignment of Regional Operational Heads towards a common position
· Support Regional initiatives and projects
· Support in the modeling and documentation of medical processes and the identification of process improvement opportunities to drive productivity / efficiency within Medical Operations. Drive the build-up of global expertise on the medical processes and share across the group to:
· Identify potential areas of improvement, due to process optimization, to support productivity improvements
· Translate local best practices for global application
· Provide proper documentation, including business cases, mapping and action plans for improvement
· Perform business analysis in associated business units as part of the review team from global office, including to conduct process setup review, and deep dive on issues arising
· Support the regional initiatives and target operating model in alignment with the framework defined globally and in alignment with Regional Heads
· Support the Hospital Evaluation Program: identification of countries, planning with team in each region, implementation and reporting of hospital and air ambulance evaluation program globally and as key contact in coordination with medical provider management team
· Ensure ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders :
· Prepare ad-hoc updates for management/ team
· Identify issues, escalate them and track resolution
· Ensure alignment with management/Regional Operational Heads on key orientations
What you bring :
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Prior analysis work experience (3+),
· Experience in operations much appreciated
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Ability to structure strategic topics and communicate effectively to upper management
· Pragmatic solution finder
· Comfortable in a changing environment, where reactivity to short-notice requests are expected
· Previous experience working in a global team
· Ability to work autonomously
· Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required
· Fluency in English required, German/Italian/French a plus
