Job description
Job Responsibilities
Engineering :
- Ability to work on innovations how to manage Windows Server in Azure, AWS and on Premise
- Ability to automate system management
- Ability to structure technical work by slicing the big effort in small work packages (not working in try & error)
Security Management:
- Ensure the security of the supported servers by implementing best practices and security measures. (Technical understanding how to harden Windows OS by scripts, GPOs, tools)
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Service Delivery:
- Lead and manage the delivery of operating system services to customers, ensuring quality and performance. Develop and implement service delivery strategies aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
Disaster Recovery:
- Conducts disaster recovery plans for the services to ensure business continuity.
- Coordinate regular testing and validation of disaster recovery procedures.
Escalation Management:
- Analyze and address root causes of escalations to prevent recurrence.
Service Consulting:
- Provide expert consulting to customers on service optimization, enhancements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor services accordingly.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership and Development:
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customer.
Communicate effectively with all parties to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Technical Skills
- Experience in working with cloud platforms (Aws and Azure ) and virtualization technologies (vSphere, Hyper-V, ).
- Experience in scripting to automate administrative tasks (PowerShell, PowerBI, Ansible, ..)
- Experience with deployment automation in cloud (cloud API usage, python scripting, Jenkins, terraform, crossplane, etc)
- Experience in System Management & Configuration tools
- Experience with Cloud disaster recovery concepts
- Knowledge in Cloud security (Network Security Groups, AWS Roles, Azure AppIDs, etc) .
- Experience in working agile
- Familiarity with service management frameworks .
