Job description
We are recruiting a Manager (m/f/d) to join our Fund Management & Client Relations Team to support PIMCO Prime Real Estate’s ambitious plans to grow our business with institutional clients from outside the Allianz Group. In this role, you will work closely with key functions of our business to manage existing investment mandates and client relationships. Further, you will contribute to the development and implementation of new investment products for institutional clients.
Key responsibilities :
· Serve as face to the client for the investment mandates covered, following our one-stop-shop approach
· Manage complex investment products for commercial real estate equity with pan-European coverage, staying on top of all major developments and coordinating activities of all stakeholders involved, including decision making processes
· Drive the regular and ad-hoc client reporting process
· Prepare and run regular client meetings
· Review and coordinate decision-making on major measures, e.g. adaptions to the business plans, changes to the financing strategy, and leasing and capex activities
· Strive for steady improvement/ automation of relevant tools and processes and contribute to relevant internal projects
· Monitor and steer product performance, forming a wholistic view on return drivers on asset and fund level
· Analyse market and fund-related developments, update and implement fund strategy in close collaboration with the wider business
Key requirements :
· Advanced graduate degree in Real Estate, Management, Finance, Economics or similar qualifications. CFA or RICS is a plus.
· Several years of experience in real estate, preferably in asset / portfolio / fund / investment management. Applicants with a non-Real Estate background in alternative investments may also be considered
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
· Previous experience with Argus Enterprise is a plus
· Good understanding of real estate markets, products and investment products
· Detail-oriented with robust quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy
· Good written and oral communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
· Experience in an international, multicultural business environment
· Ability to navigate across different projects and departments and to work with a wide variety of different people in the organization
· Hands-on-mentality and persistence to carry out projects and tasks
· Fluency in English is a prerequisite, German and/or French are highly appreciated; an additional European language is a plus
