Manager - AAGI P&C Policy Processing

Job description

Responsible for overseeing end-to-end policy processing and underwriting support for assigned insurance products. This includes managing new business, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring timely and accurate policy issuance, and maintaining service standards. The role also involves leading a team, monitoring operational performance, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Manage end-to-end policy lifecycle processing, including new business issuance, renewals, mid-term endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
    - Review and validate policy documentation, including quotations, policy wordings, endorsements, and terms & conditions, in accordance with underwriting guidelines and delegated authority limits.
    - Perform premium calculations, rating verification, and ensure accurate data entry in core policy administration systems.
    - Oversee policy issuance and document assembly processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery to clients or distribution partners.
    - Lead a team of policy administrators and underwriting support; assign workloads, track productivity, and monitor adherence to SLA and KPI metrics.
    - Conduct quality control checks on policy output, endorsements, and system transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
    - Investigate and resolve processing discrepancies, system errors, and data mismatches through root cause analysis and cross-functional coordination.
    - Reconcile policy data across systems to ensure alignment between underwriting, operations, and finance.
    - Prepare client-specific and internal operational reports, including workload tracking, SLA performance, error logs, and audit readiness.
    - Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system enhancement projects by providing business input and validating functional outcomes.
    - Ensure all processes align with company policies, compliance standards, and insurance regulatory requirements.
    - Foster a collaborative team environment by mentoring staff, promoting continuous learning, and driving operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications :

-At least 3–5 years of working experience in insurance operations or underwriting support, preferably in Non-Motor lines.
-Experience in policy issuance, endorsement, and renewal processes.
-Proven track record in client service, SLA/KPI management, and process quality control.
- Experience in coordinating with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data reconciliation, reporting, and audit requirements is preferred

- Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
