Job description
Responsible for the monitoring & reporting of overall performance of the healthcare provider network including development and network responsibilities. Accountable for the negotiation & implementation of accurate, timely and competitive contracts that reflect all applicable legislative and competitive standards. Develop and communicate provider network policies and procedures including managing the good relationship between healthcare providers and the company. Overall ensuring a robust and efficient network of healthcare providers offering quality medical care to patients while also managing costs effectively
Job Responsibilities :
'1) Maintain a comprehensive provider network (hospitals, physicians, and ancillary services) to deliver a full range of health care services to Allinaz customers, clients and their members through recruitment, negotiation, contracting and re-contracting of providers to ensure quality, cost effectiveness and their participation.
'2) Manages contract performance and supports the development and implementation of standard and/or value-based contract relationships in support of the companies business strategies. Screen & recruit providers as required to ensure attainment of network expansion and adequacy targets. Manage provider contract & all support functions including the initiation, negotiation, discussion, contract supportincluding revisions, review & liasing with Legal & other relevant parties , approval, and information analysis to ensure the development of cost-effective & quality provider contracts.
3) Evaluation and recommendation of quality providers to be included or excluded from the Allianz network based on quality, reputation and consistent with Allianz criterias
'4) Foster the development and maintenance of purposeful, long term relationships with providers based on fair and competitive business terms, with an emphasis on improving quality and the patients' experience of care, while reducing the cost of care.
'5) Maintains an accurate database of provider information and responsive reporting capabilities regarding contracting status and network development.
'6) Identify and resolve service inquiries from participating provider network and other healthcare professionals. Assists Allianz personnel and claims processing in resolving contract disputes related to claims inquiry by collaborating with other departments within the organization, such as claims, utilization management, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and patient satisfaction.
7) 'Manage the utilization of the hospital portal system, ensuring hospitals are effectively using the system for all required interactions. Provide training and support to hospital staff on portal usage and troubleshoot any technical issues.
'8) 'Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize processes related to hospital interactions, claims processing, and communication. Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce operational functions
Qualifications :
1) 3-7 years experience in healthcare
