Job role
· Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance products;
· Providing thorough analyses of complex data;
· Performing data analytics for Allianz Group top players.
What you will do
• Support the production/review of the balance sheet and earnings under IFRS17
• Contributing to the establishment of IFRS17 end-to-end reporting process.
• Review and comment on global IFRS17 implementation approach in various areas.
• Understand the impact to earnings and balance sheet and provide insight to management.
• Identify the process or areas to change and enhance for IFRS17 implementation, and co-ordinate with various teams to ensure changes are well understood and implemented.
• Communicate the issues/challenges with senior actuaries or stakeholders on time.
What you bring
· Real experience of validating IFRS17 valuation engine output
· 2-4 years of experience in life insurance / finance,
· Masters degree in Economics/ Mathematics /Actuarial Sciences,
· Willing to study towards the UK IFoA (certification is a plus)
· Programming experience in different tools (SAS, C++, Python)
· Advanced user of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Access)
· English (French as a plus)
