Role Overview
In this role you will be working within the Allianz Services Retained IT organization directly reporting to the Global CIO. As the IT SCM Coordinator you will setup this new function and develop our IT Business continuity plan (IT BCP) for Allianz Services specific Business Services. You will migrate to the new IT DR template, develop backup & restoration policies for business-critical services and develop a multi-year-testing plan (MYTP).
You will be able to contribute to shaping our future IT setup being one vital chain link in the global AZ Services CIO area. You will gain a solid experience in an international and multicultural environment. The position offers an excellent platform to get broad exposure to different lines of business.
Responsibilities
· Develop the IT Business Continuity Plan (IT BCP) for critical IT processes & service operations
· Consider BIA & RIA results when developing the IT BCP
· Align the IT BCP with overall BCP’s
· Address resilience strategies & procedures for ensuring continuity in the event of a disaster or disruption affecting IT operations
· Validate effectiveness of IT DR plan based on BIA & RIA
· Perform technical IT DR tests before changes to critical IT services go live
· Ensure IT DR tests before critical IT services go live meet Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) & Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs)
· Ensure development of backup policies & resorations procedures
· Activation of backup systems & maintenance of redundant IT capacities
· Update and maintain the local Standard & Functional Rule, & implement the lifecycle
· Estimate / ensure sufficient budget for IT SCM function and tasks
Skills and Qualifications :
· 2-3 years of experience in the IT SCM and DRP environment or a similar role within a corporate IT environment (operating in an international and large organization would be advantageous).
· Experience in Crisis Management and BCM is a plus
· Professional experience in different IT and Protection & Resilience domains
· Experience in assessing business criticality of systems and services
· Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to IT service continuity
· Understanding of infrastructure, including cloud services and virtualization technologies
· Curiosity about Information Security topics
· Good knowledge of relevant services and supplier relationships or central function processes
· Highly motivated, dynamic, and self-driven individual
· Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and handling ad-hoc requests
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
· Solid interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with peers and other departments, and the ability to motivate and influence key stakeholders to drive change.
· Strong communication and conflict management skills
· Experience with crisis and emergency situations
· Willingness to travel is advantageous
· Fluency in English is a Must
