As a DEI intern, you'll play a crucial role in helping us to achieve our goals. You'll be involved in all "hot topics", actively and independently working on our projects and processes, both conceptually and operationally. Each year, we advance our approach to diversity and inclusion, and your tasks will range from conducting research, to developing a holistic strategy, and creating new and innovative ideas and concepts.
You'll be working in an agile environment, gaining invaluable insights into the structure and processes of one of the world's largest insurance and financial service companies in the HR area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact and help shape the corporate culture of tomorrow.
We're looking for a full-time intern (38 hours per week) to join our team in Munich (location Schwabing) for a period of minimum 6 months starting in October 2024. If you're passionate about DEI and ready to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!

 

How can you make an impact? 

You will work on: 

·  DEI Strategy Development and Implementation: Support the creation and execution of strategies and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the organization
·  Benchmarking and Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on current DEI best practices, trends, and relevant issues to inform and improve our initiatives. Analyze competitor best practices to identify opportunities for improvement in our DEI initiatives
·  Internal Communication Material Development: Collaborate on the creation of communication materials for our employee resource groups that build and foster a diverse company culture
·  External Communication: Support to maintain and update the company DEI webpage. Update content to reflect company's DEI initiatives and ensure alignment with overall Allianz branding and messaging
·  Data Analysis: Support the preparation and analysis of reports on DEI metrics to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives and identify areas for improvement
·  Quality Assurance: Review DEI related documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with DEI policies and standards. Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a high standard of quality in all deliverables and documentation

 

What are you made of?  

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

·  Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent

Key Skills

 

·  Knowledge and interest in the topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
·  Excellent research and analytical skills
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Fluency in English (German and other languages are beneficial)
·  Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·  Strong problem-solving skills
·  Comprehensive project management and stakeholder management abilities
·  Excellent organizational skills
·  Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
