Key responsibilities

 

The IT Economics team is seeking a highly skilled Intern IT Finance to join our dynamic inside the CTO area of Allianz Partners Global Office. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial analysis, IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.

 

You will support on the financial controlling, budgeting, business plan and financial policies for IT function. You will need to ensure that project/departments milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

 

Through this role, you will have the main following responsabilities:
 

·  Develop and maintain financial models and management presentations to support IT budget planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
·  Analyze and monitor IT financial performance, including budget variance analysis, forecasting, savings, cost tracking and cost optimization opportunities.
·  Build /controlling tools and reporting to analyze financial results and communicate findings to leadership and business partners across the organization to support business decisions and optimize the global IT Controlling processes and guidelines in alignment with the global IT strategy.
·  Collaborate with IT leadership to understand business objectives and align financial strategies to support organizational goals.
·  Track and report on key financial metrics, trends, and KPIs to stakeholders, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
·  Partner with cross-functional teams globally to streamline financial processes, enhance transparency, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
·  Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

What you bring
 

·  Comprehensive knowledge and experience in financial management and analysis, ideally in relation to global outsourced IT Services and Service Providers.
·  Solid understanding and use of financial concepts – e.g. discounted cash flows, amortization/depreciation, business case development, sensitivity analysis and associated trending, etc.
·  Understanding of IT services such as computer/infrastructure services and telecommunications services;  pricing models, and resource units (measures of service utilization).
·  Ability to develop financial plans, strategic models, stable reportings & tracking models.
·  Proficiency in working with Excel Databases, PowerPoint Presentations and thinkcell. 
·  Very strong communication skills, needs to drive internal communication also to senior management, BUs globally, other Allianz OEs.
·  Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
·  Student (Bachelor’s/Master's degree) in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or related area or combination of relevant education and work experience.
