As an IAM Specialist with a focus on Segregation of Duties and Business Role definition, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our SoD and RBAC concepts into production.

You will ensure that these new capabilities enrich the IAM offering within Allianz Global Investors, ensuring the latest services for identity governance and operation are deployed in compliance with DORA regulatory frameworks.

The role will also have a focus on IAM Governance processes (20%). This will entail functional support to activities within the Information Security team.

You also work with our operational service provider, coordinate with other IT teams, and communicate with the clients about onboarding these new capabilities.

This position will be based in Frankfurt or Munich.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage operational IAM solutions with a focus on Segregation of Duties and Business Roles (RBAC)
• Collaborate with business units to define and implement role-based access controls
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with SoD and RBAC policies
• Ensure that process, standards and procedural definition testing is performed before handover to the IAM Operations team. Including full documentation in Confluence
• Manage and maintain process and workloads via ITSM and IAM systems (ServiceNow/Dell OneIdentity)
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents related to SoD and RBAC
• Stay up to date with the latest IAM trends, technologies, and best practices

What you bring

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration, or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in IAM with a focus on SoD and RBAC solutions
• Detailed knowledge of IAM tools and technologies Preferred experience with One Identity Manager and CyberArk
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience in managing user lifecycle (identities, request & approval, provisioning, recertification, business roles)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (Fluency in English both verbal and written; German is an advantage)

Preferred

• Experience with Active Directory, Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow would be a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are a plus
