The Accounting & Reporting Finance Head is responsible for the financial governance of the multiple legal entities:

The ultimate goal of this role is to lead the Accounting team of senior experts across several locations in the sub region to ensure the quality of financial reporting & controls, being accountable for their compliance with tax and accounting standards, internal and external regulations & other guidelines, manage the communication and explanation of the financial reporting (together with P&C team) to internal & external stakeholders, e.g. local and regional senior management, local tax authority and regulators, external auditors. This role will be representing legal entities to external stakeholders

The Accounting & Reporting Finance Head of a Sub region is a senior financial leader who ensures that all outputs are fair, accurate and complete and acts as a counterparty for financial matters with Stakeholders where it could be reasonably expected under their respective duties. As a people oriented leader, the role connects teams fostering effective collaboration and solution focused mind-set while empowering and developing teams and individuals.
Within this role the Finance Head is able to make a concrete impact in the organization, identifying with Allianz Partners' legacy and acting as a change agent, driving the transformation step by step while being flexible and innovative in finding solutions.

The Accounting & Reporting Finance Head acts with care and exercises prudent judgment in ensuring the mitigation of risks under tax and accounting principles.

KEY RESPONBILITIES

The Accounting & Reporting Finance Head, reporting to the Sub regional Finance Director is accountable for the financial disclosures of the legal entities in their scope of the sub region, acting in compliance with respect to Environmental, social, and corporate principles established by the group:
• Ensure that all periodic financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly) are timely disclosed in accordance with group internal deadlines and regulatory requirements, under accounting, tax and legal requirements.
• Control the consistency and appropriateness in accounting methods and the respect of accounting requirements across the Finance Factory, leading compliance with the business's internal corporate and finance rules book.
• Facilitate and coordinate requests from local authorities and other external stakeholders
• Perform financial analysis with the ultimate aim to ensure quality and reliability of financial reports for the full sub region.
o       Monitor the balance sheet accounts and ensure that proper and correct reconciliation have been implemented by Finance Factory, to provide a reliable situation of the financial statements.
o       Monitor periodically the profit and loss accounts and ensure that proper and correct bookkeeping have been implemented by Finance Factory, to provide a reliable situation of the financial statements and of the profitability for the Sub Region
o       Support Finance Factory in order to ensure a correct and timely delivery of tax submissions, escalating in case of risks for the company that require mitigation actions and playing a role in coordinating ad hoc tax audits
• Coordinate external audits and ensure inputs are timely and with accuracy delivered
• Develop new controls and ensure an effective control environment
• Ensure a timely and proper execution of internal audits & closure of related findings, developing relevant controls, rules and guidelines to enhance governance and mitigate risks,
• Encourage and facilitate communication with other teams, foster solution mindset
• Collect from Finance Factory the necessary information to exercise his controlling duties over the financial reporting's and processes performed.
• Support implementation of Group initiatives for the Sub Region and support and locally drive transformation as required by the company' s strategy.
