Global Private Debt Intern - 12 Month Contract - Fully Onsite

 We are currently looking for a Global Private Debt intern (f/m/d) to join our investment function. 

The position is based in our New York office and will be for 12 months.

 

What you do:

·  Assist senior portfolio manager in US with a focus on deal sourcing and investment analysis. Continuous market coverage, screening and benchmarking of potential investments
·  Conduct investment due diligence (e.g. segment analysis, strategy, track record, team setup, governance and operational setup)
·  Support transaction execution of LP-led and GP-led private debt secondaries transactions
·  Active life-cycle management
·  Maintain and develop relationships with partners (GPs, brokers, advisors)
·  Ad hoc support on preparation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders

 

What you bring:

·  Candidate for/Graduated with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics or business from an accredited university
·  Excellent academic track record
·  Ability to conduct general financial analytics and to read and understand financial statements is required
·  Ideally relevant professional or academic experience in a similar role with a strong emphasis on finance/investment
·  Eager to learn about private debt asset class across regions and styles
·  Previous work experience within consulting, investment banking, asset management a plus
·  Strong leadership, presentation and project management skills
·  Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with high level of attention to details
·  Ambitious, self-motivated with strong analytical and quantitative skills
·  Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
·  Proficient in English, other languages are an advantage

 

Base Salary $110,000
