What you do
- Responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control;
- Prepare regular budget consolidation;
- Work with the regions on FTE bridges to explain the increase/decrease for the functions that shift activities to Romania;
- Support Group Controlling team for FTE related processes;
- Track, report, and analyse budget variances;
- Work closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analyse findings;
- Assist during the implementation of the new processes in the GCC environment (definition of step-ladder allocation, new IC recharging keys and processes, implementation of the master agreement, ...);
- Ensure documentation of the processes and controls are complete;
- Pro-actively make recommendations to improve efficiency of the recharging processes;
- Understand business hierarchy, analyze data issues and provide support to the user population;
- Support the regions on Inter-company charges details;
- Support Group Inter-companies booking and reconciliations;
- Analyze and produce reports as per the business requirements;
- Follow-up on the defined KPIs;
- Maintain and strengthen strong CPI Team dynamic, pro-actively participate to the Continuous Improvement methodology using Lean approach;
- Additional controller duties as necessary.
What you bring
Educational requirements:
* Bachelor degree and/or Masters Degree in the Financial field
Functional knowledge:
* Fully computer literate, advanced Excel and experience of accounting packages (SAP)
* Strong IT and financial system skills
* Numerical ability – able to analyze performance metrics and calculate performance and financial benefit
* Knowledge about IFRS
* Preferably Qualified / Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
* Good knowledge in English .
Business expertise:
* Experience of financial reporting in a Group environment and of monthly financial & accounting processes
* Extended experience in Financial Controlling, IC flows and/or SAP Master Data
* Accounting experience of 2-5 years or more.
Interpersonal Skills:
* Self-motivated with ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
* Ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and users
* Customer focused and team player.
* Extended problem solving skills (analysis, decision, communication, autonomy)
