What you do:
The Executive Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Allianz Life General Counsel, a member of our Executive Leadership Group (ELG). Working with a high degree of independence, you will help manage workflow, meet service expectations, and support the Legal, Ethics & Compliance division's strategic projects for the enterprise. You will also work in partnership with other ELG division administrative assistants to support leadership and company-wide meetings, projects, events and initiatives. You will report directly to the General Counsel.
· Maintain Leadership calendars, including scheduling meetings, speaking engagements, and travel (may include domestic and international) arrangements.
· Maintain leader/division records and filing system.
· Receive, answer, or route incoming telephone calls.
· Compose, edit, and distribute division communication, create PowerPoint presentations.
· Research and obtain information for routine and moderately complex reports and special assignments.
· Attend leadership team meetings, track action items and follow up.
· Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports and invoices.
· Support and may lead special projects as assigned.
· Keep the General Counsel advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
· Other additional and/or alternative tasks as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives.
What you bring:
· 4+ years of administrative experience required supporting senior and/or executive-level organizational leaders; 6+ years of administrative experience preferred
· Superior verbal and written communication skills, includes composing and editing written communication
· Well organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects with deadlines
· Flexibility - priorities change on a daily basis because of the fast pace the enterprise works under
· Project management skills
· Proven initiative, able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Confidentiality - Enterprise-wide confidential information is sometimes required to complete the responsibilities of this job.
· Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point
Education
· Two-year degree or equivalent work experience required
· Four-year degree preferred
