You'll be responsible for:
- Process and issue Quotation/Risk Document, statistic and report within Dept timeline and Quality standard, and to provide analysis recommendations
- Provide technical support and training to Branches, intermediaries and clients.
- Decision making in underwriting of risks within Company guidelines.
- To support in internal system enhancement of OPUS/ALPHA Marine systems/ IT Projects until successful completion & to manage/upkeep the eMarine system & other internal control system within Dept timeline and recommend immediate corrective actions to be taken by branch and/or Dept where necessary.
- To support team leader to continuously review workflow/process and provide recommendations to improve delivery standards
- Any other duties as and when deemed necessary
- Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT for automating routine tasks and enhancing productivity
Important to your success:
- Fresh graduates with Degree in Business / Finance / Actuarial / ICT or Insurance Studies.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high learning agility plus work efficiency.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, with good communication skills.
- Strong computer application skills, eg: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Advantage to candidates with AMII qualification or equivalent.
