As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you'll be a key player in our second line of defense, ensuring resilience against operational, IT, and project risks. You'll work closely with control functions and support business leaders in defining, monitoring, and assessing our risk and control framework. Building collaborative and trusting relationships across the organization is essential to your success in this role.

What will you do?

• Support and challenge the business in identifying, managing, and monitoring significant risks in key processes, activities, and projects.
• Lead the deployment of new initiatives aligned with our ERM strategy.
• Coordinate the identification, design, and testing of key controls, addressing operational weaknesses.
• Report to senior management on strategic risks, operational weaknesses, and control structure quality.
• Collaborate with other control functions, such as Compliance and Audit, on cross-functional initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvements and enhance the risk management framework and processes.
• Promote a risk awareness culture across the organization and foster proactive risk management practices.

Who we're looking for?

We seek a candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Business Information Technology, Law, or a related field. You should be fluent in English, Dutch, and French, with a few years of relevant experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, or management consulting. Experience in the financial sector is a plus. You should be capable of managing projects independently, have strong analytical skills, and be an excellent communicator able to engage with C-suite executives. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required, and knowledge of PowerBI is a plus. Occasional travel between Brussels and Rotterdam is expected.
