What are you going to do in Allianz?    

 

·  Engage directly with stakeholders to understand their needs; 
·  Work in a highly collaborative team to find solutions to business problems, 
·  Contribute to the solutions at the backend of the data stack, from ETL to data modelling. Also, including frontend, like dashboards; 
·  Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of the solutions and ensure best practices are used; 
·  Learn new technical skills and help the team succeed; 
·  Collaborate with other teams within the Allianz Group. 

  

What does Allianz need from you?     

 

·  Strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, IT engineering or similar;  
·  Fluency in English and Spanish;  
·  Previous experienice in Data Engineering roles; 
·  Excellent SQL and query optimization skills and good understanding of data modelling techniques; 
·  Solid Python programming and experience building data pipelines;  
·  Azure or experience with other cloud vendors; 
·  Ability to understand business needs and turn them into meaningful data products; 
·  Self-starter with a drive and curious mindset; 
·  Willingness to step outside their comfort zone to broaden skills and learn new technologies; 
·  High level of collaboration and open to sharing knowledge and feedback. 
·  Bonus skills include: 
·  Experience with CI/CD automation and tools like Github Actions; 
·  Experience with Luigi/Airflow; 
·  Experience with BI and Analytics tools such as PowerBI; 
·  Experience with Docker, K8s; 
·  Experience with Insurance and SAS language; 
·  Exposure to Agile workplace.
