The Role:

 

Participate to the set up of a new data environment for Allianz Trade businesses based on state of the art technology (AWS, Snowflake, Microstrategy...). The trainees will support different Technical & Business Squads in the data exploration and development of new capability.

 

Challenges:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our Data team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data-driven decision-making processes. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced data professionals and contribute to various projects that support our business objectives with an international exposure.

 

Main Tasks:

 

·  Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
·  Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
·  Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Microstrategy to communicate findings effectively.
·  Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support various departments and stakeholders.
·  Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand data needs and provide analytical support for ongoing projects.
·  Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings.
·  Learning & Development: Engage in continuous learning and development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.

 

 

TYPICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCES

 

Education:

 

·  Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

 

Skills:

 

·  Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
·  Familiarity with data visualization tools such Microstrategy
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
·  Good communication and presentation skills.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
