Job description

Join our team as a Business Development Manager in Korea, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and nurturing existing relationships to achieve portfolio targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed targets for portfolio growth and quality.
  • Develop leads independently and through various channels to acquire new customers.
  • Support the renewal of policies you have acquired.
  • Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and apply commercial underwriting standards to maintain profitability and portfolio quality.
  • Implement group-wide quality of service standards and serve customers according to the Operational Manual guidelines.
  • Work closely with core functions such as Credit, Claims, and Policy Administration.
  • Generate insights to support future business opportunities and growth initiatives for Allianz Trade.
  • Ensure long-term profitability and quality of the customer portfolio through effective distribution strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
  • 3+ years of proven success as a salesperson, with proven track record.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality services and driven by customer satisfaction.
  • Outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both Korean and English is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in multinational companies or multicultural environments is an advantage.
