Job description
Join our team as a Business Development Manager in Korea, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and nurturing existing relationships to achieve portfolio targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed targets for portfolio growth and quality.
- Develop leads independently and through various channels to acquire new customers.
- Support the renewal of policies you have acquired.
- Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Ensure accurate pricing and apply commercial underwriting standards to maintain profitability and portfolio quality.
- Implement group-wide quality of service standards and serve customers according to the Operational Manual guidelines.
- Work closely with core functions such as Credit, Claims, and Policy Administration.
- Generate insights to support future business opportunities and growth initiatives for Allianz Trade.
- Ensure long-term profitability and quality of the customer portfolio through effective distribution strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
- 3+ years of proven success as a salesperson, with proven track record.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality services and driven by customer satisfaction.
- Outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both Korean and English is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in multinational companies or multicultural environments is an advantage.
