Job description

Our department is responsible for the central 2nd Level Support for several German OEs of Allianz, serving approximately 80,000 users. In addition to 2nd Level Support, we manage all support levels and have integrated 3rd Level Support for some Allianz-specific products. We assist our customers in using our IT systems and software, and continuously develop solution documentation, process descriptions, and end-user guides.

 

What you do

  • Support end users with technical and administrative questions regarding IT and insurance software
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to analyze and resolve network issues
  • Assist in creating solutions and guides for employees and end users
  • Advise customers on hardware and software matters
  • Support in commissioning providers for hardware defects and repair orders
  • Participate in projects related to changes in duties and the introduction of new products or applications
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation and process descriptions


What you bring

  • Enrolled in a relevant field of study such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT-related program
  • Demonstrates a confident and reliable demeanor, with strong communication, teamwork skills, and service orientation
  • Shows initiative, flexibility, and perseverance in overcoming challenges
  • Employs an independent, structured, and analytical approach to solving and improving tasks
  • Proficient in standard office applications and Windows 10/11
  • Fluent in German and possesses very good English skills (comparable to B2) and basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practicle use
  • Interested in IT support and technical solutions, with desirable knowledge of the Allianz IT environment or experience in IT and/or support, familiarity with tools such as Prisma-Remote, GoToAssist, Intune, EntraID, ZOVI, GIAM, and ServiceNow, and good knowledge transfer and presentation skills
