Job description

Allianz Direct continues to grow, and this time we are looking for a talented Agile Coach to join our team.
We are looking for a person with knowledge and experience within Agile Environments using Scrum/Kanban. Proactive, enthusiastic, and output driven. Willingness to embrace and drive change, solid problem-solving skills, supported by a logical, methodical, and thorough approach to implementation.
A person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships at all levels.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Working with leadership team and squads in their day-to-day to streamline communication and create positive relationships built on cooperation.
•    Boosting self-organized and autonomous Tribes and Squads and fomenting continuous improvement.
•    Extending the Agile knowledge inside the organization (training, workshops, learning).
•    Designing and implementing the Allianz Direct Agile Way of Working.
•    Providing objective feedback.
•    Identifying and resolving impediments that impact team activities.
•    Providing support in synchronization and alignment between different units within the Organization.
•    Helping the Organization with strategic planning and the implementation of key initiatives to create an Agile Portfolio (supporting Quarterly Business Review process).
•    Building a strong relationship between all the Allianz Direct colleagues from the different countries and creating a common understanding.
•    Helping the organization to adopt the AZDIR common Way of Working that reflects Agile mindset.
•    Improving the team’s delivery of value by sharing Agile best practices as a Servant Leader.
•    Impulse continuous improvement culture in the Organization.
•    Creating a safe environment that enables high performing, motivated Tribes and teams.
•    Being a promoter inside Organization to adopt Lean-Agile mindset.
•    Working with teams and Organization so decisions are data driven.
•    Enable and give support, to more than four Squads at the same time, to help them in implementing Agile principles and improving Agile practices.
•    Ensure teams are involved in rough effort estimation, creating awareness regarding the benefits of being predictable.
•    Helping teams to self-manage impediments and resolve conflicts.
•    Giving constructive feedback to the teams.
•    Create awareness in the team to maintain updated the information in the management tool (Jira).
•    Support and train Agile roles if needed in their role’s responsibilities.
•    Assure the proper metrics to show Tribe and Teams progress.
•    Coordinate with other Agile Coaches inside the Tribe.
•    Participate on Agile Community being in contact with rest of the Agile Coaches Chapter to share best practices.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

•    Broad knowledge of Lean, agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), scalation (LESS, Nexus, …)
•    Experience working both at organization level with leadership and team level.
•    Experience in working in Agile environments.
•    Strong analytical skills to make strategic decisions quickly.
•    An entrepreneurial and very customer-focused mindset.
•    Proactive attitude, openness, and courage in an action.
•    The ability to build strong relationships.
•    Excellent analytical skills and the ability to draw logical conclusions.
•    Effective communication skills.
•    Openness to change and commitment.
•    Facilitation skills with ability to work across diverse groups of people.
•    Ability to coach and mentor both people as individuals and teams.
•    Ability to create and give training courses for individuals and teams.
•    Excellent oral and written Italian and English skills.

 

Nice to have:
•    Agile Certifications: PMI-ACP, Scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, Kanban University, Black Belt Six Sigma…
•    Experience working at larger multinational organizations (insurance experience is a plus).
•    Experience in distributed-teams environment.
•    Experience in multicultural environment.
•    Languages: German, Dutch, Spanish, French.
