Key responsibilities/What you do
As an Accounting Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting team.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations: This will involve tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and preparing basic financial reports.
· Reviewing and verifying invoices: You'll help ensure that invoices from vendors or other departments are accurate and have the necessary supporting documentation.
· Supporting accounting compliance: You'll assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
· Learning about withholding tax: You'll gain knowledge of withholding tax processes, including issuing certificates and preparing monthly reports.
· Assisting with VAT reporting: You'll contribute to the preparation of monthly VAT reports.
· Supporting vendor payment processes: You'll help ensure that vendor payments are made accurately and in accordance with company policies.
· Learning about account reconciliation and other accounting tasks: You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various accounting functions.
Key requirements/What you bring
To be successful in this internship, you should:
· Be a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual.
· Have a strong interest in accounting and finance.
· Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Be a team player and able to work independently.
· Be studying or graduated in accounting or a related field.
· Have a basic understanding of accounting principles.
· Be fluent in English.
While previous experience is not required, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
