Job Description

The position is responsible for implementing hygiene & sustainability processes that meet the company’s mission and brand standards, target guest needs, ensure employee satisfaction, and focus on continuous improvement at the property level. This position champions the hygiene & sustainability function as well as monitoring and implementing all related aspects of hygiene rules and regulations.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager and the General Manager the Hygiene & Sustainability Manager will be a driving force behind the organization's sustainability efforts, enforcing company environmental initiatives and goals while contributing to the reputation of Raffles and Accor as a responsible corporate citizen and enhancing brand value. This position will help shape the future of sustainability at Raffles Istanbul by creating a more sustainable, resilient, and ethical business while ensuring efficient collection of data and implementation of policies and practices as outlined by corporate.

Qualifications

·  Neat appearance
·  Articulate
·  Good Posture
·  Oral and written fluency in English
·  Local language
·  Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Environment, Sustainability or related areas.
·  Background on Auditing or engineering is an advantage
·  Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office tools.
·  Computer literacy
·  At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
·  Lead and foster excellence and innovation.
·  The ability to manage projects strategically, while being hands on and detail-oriented, acting as a catalyst for making things happen
·  Capacity to work independently with various stakeholders.
·  Coordinate, communicate and get buy-in from the different stakeholders with various levels
·  The ability to influence stakeholders
·  Act as a role-model and inspire behavioral change
