We are looking for a Recruitment Manager to join the opening SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, All-Inclusive Collection . As a leader in the opening of this exciting hotel, the Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in talent sourcing, building the opening team, in shaping the team member experience, and fostering a culture of inclusiveness and exceptional guest service. This role will report to the Director of People & Culture.

Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS, is currently undertaking a magnificent all-inclusive project in the oasis that is Playa Mujeres, just north of Cancun, Mexico.  Opening is planned for this November 2024.

Introducing the newest gem of dazzling luxury to reach Cancun’s Playa Mujeres area: our all-inclusive hotel offers 500 luxurious keys, complemented by an impressive array of 18 distinct Food & Beverage outlets and a rejuvenating spa sanctuary. Catering to both adults seeking a getaway and families craving connection and some adventure, this hotel brings a wonderland of extraordinary experiences to Cancun, providing an array of amenities and activities tailored for travelers of all ages.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

·  You'll focus on further developing talent acquisition processes and strategies.
·  Manage the pre-opening budget as it relates to hiring efforts.
·  You'll be responsible for monitoring recruiting metrics.
·  You'll design and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
·  Maintain talent pipelines, establishing relationships and engaging candidates for current and future opportunities.
·  Knowledgeable of the department’s recruitment budget and manage expenses within approved budget constraints.
·  Source candidates through online channels, networking, referrals, and job fairs.
·  Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit within our culture and values.
·  Evaluate, interview, coordinate interviews, hire qualified candidates and onboard new team members.
·  Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other local talent sources.
·  Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and review job descriptions.
·  Work closely with the Director of People & Culture in implementing, achieving and maintaining the property recruitment goals and objectives, set for both pre-opening phase as well as fully operational.
·  You'll work closely with the Director of People & Culture to develop and implement strategies for talent retention and reducing turnover rates.
·  You'll be a culture champion representing this property, promoting a fair, safe and equitable environment, and championing empowerment, innovation, development, and communication.
·  You'll ensure compliance with employment law framework in its operating state and locality.
·  You'll act as an advisor to all managers on all aspects of recruitment.
·  You'll create awareness for the brand and Ennismore through recruiting activities to attract talent to the property.
·  You'll play a key role in efforts in embedding our values and culture into the team.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

·  You have at least two (2) years’ experience in a recruitment capacity in a full-service property, all-inclusive, or luxury resort.
·  You have full knowledge of employment law in Mexico, immigration process, visa durations, fees and the local jurisdiction.
·  You have strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
·  Ability to take ownership of issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.
·  You are a quick learner, with a growth mindset and are up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
·  You execute. You get things done. You are scarily organized.
·  You know how to hold people accountable – but make people feel good at the same time.
·  You are a great communicator – both verbally and written – and a great listener. You are fluent (both verbal and written) in English and Spanish.
·  You love people and want to scout, hire and train the best team out there.
·  You can keep a secret. You exercise discretion when handling team issues.
·  You are humble & kind; you think big and encourage your team to believe.
·  You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way.
·  You have a proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Microsoft Office products, various HRIS and payroll systems, and applicant tracking systems (such as SmartRecruiter)
