Job Description

The Laundry Runner will support role in the laundry operations at Raffles & Fairmont Doha. Responsible for transporting laundry items between departments and the laundry facility, the Laundry Runner ensures timely and efficient movement of linen, uniforms, and guest laundry, contributing to seamless operations and maintaining the hotel’s high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Collect and deliver laundry items such as linen, uniforms, and guest clothes between hotel departments and laundry areas promptly.
·  Assist in sorting and organizing laundry items for processing and distribution.
·  Maintain clear communication with laundry and housekeeping teams to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
·  Ensure the cleanliness and proper handling of laundry carts and transport equipment.
·  Report any lost, damaged, or missing laundry items to the supervisor immediately.
·  Support the laundry team with general tasks as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
·  Adhere to hotel safety, hygiene, and security policies during all operations.
·  Assist with inventory checks and documentation as required.

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
·  Physically fit and able to carry and transport laundry items safely.
·  Good time management and organizational skills.
·  Basic communication skills in English.
·  Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
·  Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
