Job Description
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven   Multi-Hotel Director of Sales   to lead the sales strategy for both Pullman Cairns International and Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort on a fixed-term, maternity leave contract. This pivotal role focuses on driving growth across conferencing, events, and leisure segments - maximising market share and revenue performance across two of Cairns’ most prominent hotels.
 
As the Multi-Hotel Director of Sales, you will take ownership of commercial outcomes, leveraging your strategic mindset, industry connections, and proven leadership skills to elevate both properties’ market presence. Leading the Sales team, you will identify and convert new business opportunities, nurture key client relationships and deliver innovative sales initiatives that position our hotels as the premier choice for events, corporate travel, and leisure escapes in Tropical North Queensland.
 
    About the Role:    
 
·  Proactively source, secure, and convert new business opportunities across conferencing, events, corporate and leisure segments, driving revenue growth and achieving performance targets through strategic sales initiatives. 
·  Collaborate with General Managers and Revenue teams to optimise RevPAR, yield, and total revenue across all segments through strategic pricing, business mix, and sales initiatives. 
·  Oversee and empower the Sales teams across both hotels, fostering a high-performance culture focused on growth, collaboration, and excellence in conversion and client service. 
·  Harness the power of Accor’s ALL, Meeting Planner, and Accor Plus programs to drive client retention and loyalty, embedding a guest-first, loyalty-led mindset across all teams. 
·  Work closely with Marketing, Revenue and Operations teams to deliver integrated campaigns and tactical activity that enhance visibility, elevate guest experience, and grow revenue streams. 
·  Monitor performance, market trends, and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions, reporting regularly on activity, ROI, and results to ensure continued commercial success.

Qualifications
About You:
 
·  You bring proven experience as a Sales leader within a branded hotel or resort environment, with a strong understanding of both leisure and business markets. 
·  A confident and accountable leader, you communicate with clarity and influence while balancing competing priorities with ease 
·  You are commercially minded and results-driven, with a strategic approach to identifying opportunities and driving performance 
·  Detail-oriented and analytical, you think critically, act decisively, and stay curious - always looking for ways to improve outcomes 
·  You thrive in collaborative environments, working effectively with cross-functional teams and adapting to a variety of customer needs and dynamics
