Job Description
Information & Technology (IT) Supervisor
The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the effective functioning of IT systems, providing technical support, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role includes managing IT infrastructure, coordinating support services, maintaining system security, and implementing IT projects that align with organizational goals.
What you will be doing:
· Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the IT team.
· Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
· Monitor performance of IT systems and suggest improvements.
· Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
· Provide second and third-level technical support and resolve escalated issues.
· Enforce IT policies and procedures and ensure compliance with security protocols.
· Coordinate IT projects, upgrades, and migrations.
· Manage user accounts, access permissions, and data backups.
· Train and mentor IT staff; conduct performance evaluations.
· Liaise with vendors and service providers.
· Prepare regular reports on system performance, team productivity, and IT incidents.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in IT support or network/system administration.
· 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preferrably in hospitality.
· Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, hardware troubleshooting, and cybersecurity.
· Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, cloud services, and enterprise software.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
