Job Description

As a Kids Activities Attendant , you’ll be at the heart of the fun – designing and delivering exciting, hands-on activities for the children staying at our resort. We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic individuals who are passionate about working with kids and are fully available on weekends and during school holidays . Your role will help families create meaningful, lasting memories throughout their stay.

What You’ll Be Doing

·  Plan and lead a variety of fun and engaging indoor and outdoor activities – from arts and crafts to games, sports, and interactive workshops.
·  Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times by adhering to supervision protocols and safety standards.
·  Create a welcoming, inclusive space where children feel encouraged to play, learn, and make new friends.
·  Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and guardians, keeping them informed and addressing any special needs or concerns.
·  Collaborate with hotel staff to coordinate scheduling and ensure the kids' program runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

·  Full availability on weekends and during school holidays, with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
·  Experience working with children in settings such as day care, school programs, camps, or similar environments is preferred.
·  A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) as required by the state of Queensland.
·  A naturally energetic, enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for engaging with kids.
·  Strong communication and people skills – you're confident speaking with children, parents, and team members alike.
·  CPR and First Aid certifications are highly valued for this role.
