PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Managing assigned accounts (territory) to assure consistent sales growth and to meet profitability and sales target - identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage own territory to achieve sales and profitability targets. This territory management includes managing a good business (profitability and sales growth) at the hospital, physician relationship, account strategy, competitive intelligence, plan of action (activities, medical education, and development opportunities). This in close cooperation with the Business Unit Manager

Act as a technical and business consultant to be a privileged partner of the hospital ecosystem

Comply with administration tasks such as customer record keeping, rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc. in line with divisional standards. Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skill:
1. Selling through relevant product knowledge, value-added selling and negotiation
2. Ability to put together a territory business plan (from knowing the market to defining and tracking plan of action).
3. Capable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system and necessary correspondence and spreadsheets.
Leadership/Behavioral skills requirements
1. Teamwork, Collaboration, Adaptability

3. Planning and Organizing
Education
1. Appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical/Paramedical certification (eg. Nursing)
2. Relevant industry experience – interaction with Interventional cardiologists, purchasers
3. Preferably prior learning with professional selling skills.
Experience
1. Successful track records of more than three (3) years relevant experience in a sales role in the Health Care Industry
