JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott Diabetes Care designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. Our product portfolio includes Freestyle Libre, a recently launched system that is revolutionising how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team based in Witney, Oxfordshire.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing supply planning systems and reports that support Division requirements, including ensuring systems and reports are suitably scalable for future growth potential. You will spec, test, implement and train key business partners on supply chain planning reports, system architecture and integration of software systems, as well as participating in the monthly sales and operations planning process, and drive on-going continuous improvement activities within supply chain operations.

To be successful, you will be Degree qualified and bring a breadth of experience of supply chain, with preference given to those also demonstrating supply planning exposure. You will be systems orientated by nature, with excellent excel and analytical skills. Experience of MRP/ERP systems is advantageous. We're looking for someone who is ambitious, highly organised, and excited about joining a team at the forefront of Diabetes Care innovation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a small team, but interact on a wider business scale. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
