JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be based in Westfield, IN. However, there will be an initial training period of up to 7 months in Menlo Park, CA. Applicant must be able to spend up to 7 months in Menlo Park before transferring to Westfield location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Sr. IQA Inspector you will be responsible for the inspection of incoming components (i.e. plastics, metals, extrusions, and tubing), raw material, information for use (IFUs), package, and labeling. Review and perform first article inspections. Conduct functional testing as required by component drawings and/or test instructions. Assist engineering in the verification of prototype component inspection.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Work in compliance to AVI applicable procedures Policies and CFR’s Quality System Regulation.
- Responsible for the preparation of daily and monthly IQA reports
- Work with supplier quality engineering to develop inspection programs utilizing optical inspection equipment for selected components. Perform and process first article inspections.
- Correlate supplier’s first article inspection report with AVI first article inspection results.
- Inspect incoming component.
- Train and assist other junior inspectors in the processing / inspection of components and IQA documentation.
- Maintain inspection documentation in accordance with SOPs, WIs and GMP (CFRs)
- Interface with Engineers on new product development, inspections and Non-conformance results.
- Proficient in the use of standard inspection gages and automated/manual optical measuring equipment.
EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience / Training Required
- Six plus years experience working in inspection, or related field.
- Basic math and communication skills.
