JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Job Function:
Responsible for Quality systems administration, including level-3 support. This position will be key in managing the day to day and reoccurring release administration. Deliverables in this position include, but not limited to, hosting business meetings and coordinating efforts related to the administration of the quality system. After hours and other responsibilities as assigned.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Update and manage the system for master data add and changes to the Quality system
- Provide strategic input into the SDLC and proactively advance the Quality Systems
- Understand Quality management workflows, including but not limited to, Complaints Handling, CAPA, NCMR, AUDITS and Microbiology.
- Update and provide strategic input for various Quality related SOP and WI.
- Develops requirements, workflow and systems analysis. Responsible for the development and periodic testing of applications/systems. Designs, tests, and implements system security for operating systems and infrastructure software (system utilities, security tools, monitoring tools, tuning tools, etc.) for the platform.
Position Accountability / Scope:
- Understanding and wide application of quality standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques in the medical manufacturing industry.
- General knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Provides technical solutions to enterprise problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and consistent with organizational objectives.
- Guides the completion of specific programs/projects and may function in a project leadership role. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions would typically result in serious program/project delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS, or similar field of Engineering or equivalent. No advanced degree required.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience
- 2 years' experience in a System Administration role required
- 2 years' experience with ETQ Reliance preferred, 2 years' experience on Abbott Medical Device Quality Systems preferred
- Med Device Experience desirable not mandatory
