Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Senior Product Manager.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· 
Financial Results: Responsible for achieving FreeStyle Libre systems sales and margin by driving the execution of sales and marketing plans, tracking actuals vs. target and other key metrics, such as growth by account, and adjusting tactics as needed to achieve targets within the DME channel.  

· 
Forecasting: Responsible for the development of the DME channel forecasts by working with various internal teams to provide business analysis and justification. Provide monthly assessment of FreeStyle Libre systems performance in sales, margin, and diagnose any challenges or opportunities within the DME channel. 

· 
Business Planning: Develops DME channel strategic and tactical plans for the FreeStyle Libre portfolio of products with analysis and insights from various sources. Works with a broad array of internal and external groups to inform these plans. Participates in various channel market development discussions (including, HCP, Market Access) to inform the plans. Updates plans as needed based on changing market situation (customer, cost, competition, new products). Allocates budgets and resources needed to drive growth opportunities and address key risks.

Marketing Materials: Develops DME promotional and educational tools (e.g., literature, brochures, website, and all media) for the FreeStyle Libre portfolio of products, training materials, and customer communications to support key accounts. Follows internal processes needed to gain necessary approvals for promotional materials. Adheres to FreeStyle Libre brand guidelines and requirements in managing development and execution of promotional materials.

Competitive Strategies: Develops and executes competitive strategies with alignment from various channels. Understands key customer needs and insights to inform competitive strategies. Provides positioning to differentiate our product from the competition.

· 
New Product Launches: Leads and participates in Trade channel activities with new product launches. Develops launch plan and tracks key milestones. Coordinates key launch activities with various internal teams. Develops and executes messaging and tactics. Assists sales teams with customer presentations around new product launches. 

· 
Sales Support: Supports field sales efforts to participate in and conduct DME customer meetings that drive FreeStyle Libre adoption. Builds relationships with key customers and industry associations to facilitate sales and increase positive visibility and adoption of the FreeStyle Libre portfolio of products. Drives execution of strategies and tactics through field travel and customer meetings.

Sales Training: Organizes and facilitates DME channel activities at key sales meetings. Develops and presents product information and training to the sales force.

· 
Market Research: Conducts market research, where needed, to understand key business questions, clearly define objectives and work closely with market research team. Anticipates the potential outcomes, plans scenarios, communicates the results, and recommends actions.

· 
Project Management: Leads and manages various projects simultaneously involving cross functional teams.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.   Product management experience in medical products or services preferred. Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking and analysis of market conditions.
