The Opportunity
This position works out of our Scottsdale, AZ location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
Senior Fault Isolation Technician is responsible for the production of high quality medical device hardware and systems. This position includes detailed assembly and testing of various electronic components and finished devices in a controlled manufacturing environment
Shift information:
Second shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday-Friday. This role offer's a flexibility to start shift at 1:00pm
What You’ll Work On
·
Perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices. Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.

Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment.
·
Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations.
·
Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics.
·
Maintain accurate records to ensure DHR and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products.
·
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
·
Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
·
Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance.
·
Positively represent the company during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information.
·
Perform electrical safety testing of medical device hardware and systems. • Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using manual test equipment, i.e oscilloscope, function generator, etc.
·
Maintains cross training in multiple areas/processes.
·
Performs troubleshooting of process and product non-conformances. Performs troubleshooting, servicing and refurbishment of medical device hardware and systems.
·
Perform routine/preventative maintenance on applicable equipment and documentation in Infor EAM CMMS.
·
Determines work priorities across multiple product areas and acts independently to support manufacturing goals.
·
Identify, analyze, and implement manufacturing improvements (e.g., processes, yields, and productivity).
·
Provides technical leadership and training to manufacturing team members. Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
·
Support engineering and process validation activities for continuing production and for new product introductions.
·
Must be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to both manufacturing management and engineering
·
Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED OR
·
Technical Diploma (Technical degree/certificate in electronics
·
Minimum 6 years Electronic assembly and test, preferably in medical device industry.
·
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting equipment, building and or testing of electronic assemblies.
·
Experience in GMP, ISO, and FDA controlled environments preferred. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
·
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish tasks. Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
·
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
·
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
·
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail. to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Ability to work scheduled overtime as required is preferred.

The base pay for this position is
$22.07 – $44.13/hour
