Senior Batch Release Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:

·  Timely review and closure of batch records, ensure correct release quantity and  meet  the release timeline .
·  Ensure non conformance batches are not released and any rejection are properly identified.
·  Ensure all importation testing are completed before batch release
·  Act as site QP (Qualified Person) for all export documentation approval.
·  Coordinate First Lot To Stock documentation to support batch release.
·  Lead continuous improvement projects for batch release processes

Major Responsibilities

·  Lead and ensure all batches are release timely including t racking, and ensure all importation or related testing are completed and meet MSP.
·  Understand & ensure batches under investigation ar e put on hold, and release only investigations are com pleted.
·  Responsible of all the metrics to batch release including Perfect batch, Right First Time etc, develop short-interval control and escalate to supervisor or tier meeting, if there is potential for failure or anticipate any challenges.
·  Subject matter expert for batch release and trainer for batch release process.
·  Ensure all batch release criteria (including importation testing) for finished products are fulfilled prior to release.
·  Lead all batch except ions and ensure timely as well as effective resolutions to meet committed batch release dat es.
·  Develops knowledge in area of specialization and applies knowledge of procedures and processes pertaining to own area.
·  Act as QP (Qualified Personnel) for the site and approve all related documentation for export .
·  SME for batch release process and SAP related to batch release module.
·  Understanding of broader interdependencies while growing knowledge in area of specialization.
·  Review existing processes and identify opport unit ies for improvements.
·  Ability to recognize if deviation from accepted practice and procedure is required.
·  Uses established tools and procedures to solve t ask-relat ed problems.
·  Identifies and resolves routine and recurring problems.
·  Monitors and tracks resolution of issues.
·  Works according to pre-determined deadlines.
·  Organizes and completes tasks according to assigned priorit ies.
·  Contributes through quality and accuracy of own work.
·  Understands team objectives and service requirement s.
·  Any other duties as assigned by su pervisor .

Requirements:

·  Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science or related discipline or Diploma with minimum 1 to 3 years of experience .
·  1 to 3 years of experience in relevant experience or equivalent combination  of education  and work experience.
·  Good communication and report writing skill.
·  Microsoft Office Application.
